These terms and conditions apply to all journeys and services provided by Sterk VIP Services GmbH, Ifangstrasse 10b, 8302 Kloten ("Sterk VIP"). Terms of the customer that differ from these apply only where Sterk VIP has agreed to them in writing. Partner companies, hotels and recurring assignments may be subject to separately agreed terms, which take precedence over these conditions.
A booking submitted via the website, email, telephone or WhatsApp is a request, not yet a contract. The contract is formed only once Sterk VIP has expressly confirmed the booking. The amount shown in the price calculator is binding for the route entered, the vehicle selected and the time chosen; if the pickup point, destination, time or vehicle class changes, the price is recalculated. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the details provided, in particular the address, time, number of passengers and flight number.
All prices are in Swiss francs, per vehicle and not per person. They include the chauffeur, the vehicle, statutory VAT, luggage service and the waiting time set out in section 5. A return trip is charged as two complete transfers. Intermediate stops, additional pickup or drop-off points and waiting time between two journeys are not included and are agreed in advance. Fixed fares for individual routes apply only to the route stated and, where indicated, only within the period stated.
After your booking is confirmed you receive a payment link from us, allowing payment to be made online. Unless agreed otherwise, the amount is due before the journey begins. For recurring assignments and corporate clients, invoicing can be agreed; in that case invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date. If a payment due is not made, Sterk VIP is entitled to hold back further journeys until payment is received.
For pickups at Zurich Airport, 45 minutes of waiting time are included free of charge, counted from the actual landing rather than the scheduled one; we track the flight. At all other pickup points, 15 minutes are included free of charge. Beyond that, half the starting price of the booked vehicle is charged per started 30 minutes. If the customer arrives more than 60 minutes after the agreed time without notice, the journey counts as not taken up (section 6).
Cancellations and changes are free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed pickup time. After that: cancellation between 24 and 6 hours before pickup is charged at 50 per cent of the agreed price; cancellation less than 6 hours before pickup, and failure to take up the journey, at 100 per cent. What counts is when the notice reaches Sterk VIP. If a journey cannot take place for reasons attributable to Sterk VIP, the customer owes nothing.
The permitted number of passengers per vehicle class, shown on the fleet page, must be observed. Seat belts must be worn throughout the journey. Smoking is prohibited in all vehicles, including e-cigarettes. We arrange child seats on request; they must be notified when booking, and we will quote any surcharge in advance. In Switzerland child seats are mandatory for children under 12 years of age or under 150 cm in height. Animals may be carried but must be notified when booking so that a suitable vehicle can be scheduled. Where the customer or their fellow passengers cause exceptional soiling or damage to the vehicle, the actual cost of cleaning or repair is invoiced.
Sterk VIP is liable without limitation, as provided by law, for damage caused by intent or gross negligence. For slight negligence, liability is limited to the price of the journey concerned, to the extent permitted by law. Liability for personal injury is not excluded. For luggage and personal belongings carried, Sterk VIP is liable only where fault is proven; customers are asked to keep valuables with them. Sterk VIP is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by force majeure — in particular weather, road closures, accidents, strikes or official orders. For winter travel into the mountain regions and during major events we plan pickup times with a margin, but cannot guarantee an arrival time.
The processing of personal data is governed by our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. Booking data is used solely to carry out the journey and is not passed to third parties for advertising purposes.
The contractual relationship is governed exclusively by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Kloten, Canton of Zurich, unless mandatory statutory provisions specify otherwise. Should any provision of these terms be invalid, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.
