The Gotthard motorway takes you to Göschenen, then up through the Schöllenen gorge to Andermatt. This access is open all year; the Furka, Oberalp and Gotthard passes close in winter.
From June to October we can combine Andermatt with a drive over the Furka, Grimsel or Oberalp — some of the most spectacular pass roads in the Alps.
The hotels of Andermatt Swiss Alps lie between the old village and the station, where the Glacier Express also stops. We drive to the entrance of The Chedi or your hotel; for apartments in the Andermatt Reuss quarter we take you to the entrance of your building.
In winter the Andermatt-Sedrun-Disentis ski area links the Urseren valley with Graubünden. In summer guests play the 18-hole golf course on the valley floor, and from about June to October the Furka, Oberalp and Gotthard passes are open — the exact dates depend on the snow each year.
