Depending on traffic we go over the Brünig Pass along Lake Brienz, or via Bern along Lake Thun. Both routes are open all year and rank among the most scenic drives in the country.
Only the train goes up to the Jungfraujoch; we take you to the Grindelwald Terminal or Lauterbrunnen station and pick you up again in the evening.
Most hotels line the Höheweg between Interlaken West and Interlaken Ost stations, looking across the Höhematte meadow to the Jungfrau. We drive right to the entrance. If you arrive by boat across Lake Thun or Lake Brienz, we collect you at the West or East pier.
In summer Interlaken is the base for paragliding, the lakes and mountain railways such as the Harder Kulm; in winter for the ski areas of the Jungfrau region. In September the Jungfrau Marathon runs from Interlaken up to Kleine Scheidegg. Hotels are busiest from June to September.
