The drive to Grindelwald

Via Lucerne and the Brünig or via Bern to Interlaken, then up the Lütschine valley to Grindelwald — open all year, in winter on winter tyres with snow chains.

Good to know: the gateway to the Jungfraujoch

At the Grindelwald Terminal the Eiger Express departs for the Eiger Glacier, where the Jungfrau Railway continues up to the Jungfraujoch. We take you right to the terminal — as a transfer or as a day trip with the return included.

Grindelwald Terminal or the village

Grindelwald Terminal is down in the Grund area — this is where the Eiger Express and the Männlichen gondola start. Most hotels are further up along the Dorfstrasse, with the First gondola in the middle of the village. Tell us where you want to go first; we drive straight there.

Winter, the Lauberhorn and mountain summer

In January the Lauberhorn races take place in neighbouring Wengen, and Grindelwald holds its World Snow Festival with ice sculptures. In summer the First Cliff Walk, the Bachalpsee lake and the trails beneath the Eiger North Face draw visitors. July, August and the winter months are the most booked times; on calm days the Schreckhorn and Wetterhorn are mirrored in the Bachalpsee.

An excursion with your chauffeur: drive and waiting, return included

There, wait, back: you pay the fixed price plus the waiting time, and the return is included. Hourly waiting rate: CHF 100 (S-Class), CHF 90 (V-Class), CHF 80 (E-Class).

Your hotel in Grindelwald

We drive up to the Hotel Belvedere, the Romantik Hotel Schweizerhof, the Hotel Kirchbühl or your chalet in the village.

On the way

On the way, Lake Brienz, Interlaken or a detour to the waterfalls of Lauterbrunnen are worth a stop.
